about

THE HISTORY OF CRYING is JAD FAIR & KRAMER’s third collaboration, and their first in almost 20 years... produced by Kramer at his Noise Miami recording studio, with Jad's vocals recorded in Austin, Texas.

Long-time fans of Jad Fair will be blown away by his singing on this album, as he runs rings around Kramer's complex melodies and sings like he's never sung before.

With music & song titles by Kramer and words by Jad, there's some sunshine dripping down for everyone on this limited edition 'Red-Red-Sun' vinyl LP, remixed by Kramer in glorious analog on the very same vintage UA610 console used by Brian Wilson to mix "Pet Sounds", and by Arthur Lee to record and mix LOVE's seminal LP, "Forever Changes.”

It's a once-in-a-lifetime audio event from two American Indie Music pioneers at the peak of their powers.
